TS101, The Spark
Making better lifestyle choices can have a big impact on your health. This session is designed to help you get healthier and feel better with tips, tools and support.
The session will cover the following:
- Healthy eating including healthy snacks, sugar swaps, diets and alcohol.
- Small lifestyle changes for a big impact including active aging, sleep better, stress less.
- Body MOTs including the chance to have an optional body mot to discover your body fat %, muscle mass, hydration status, metabolic age and basal metabolic rate.
About our Trainer
Amy Woodford graduated from Solent University in 2017 with a first class honours degree in BSc Health, Exercise and Physical Activity. Amy began working at Solent University shortly after graduation where she helped to deliver the Southampton Healthy Living Project. Amy is now developing and coordinating Southampton Can, a city wide community- defined series of interventions that aim to improve health and wellbeing through physical activity and nutrition. Southampton Can is based on Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall’s Newcastle Can which is a part of the BBCs Britain’s Fat Fight.
