05th August 2019 Guildhall Square Event type: Social

We are starting a JCI Southampton Pub Quiz team!

The idea is that each month we’ll take part in a pub quiz somewhere in the City.

Our August quiz is a special alfresco edition taking part in Orange Rooms’ quiz at Seaside In The Square. This special edition will not only test your minds with a bunch of summary questions but they’ll also be running themed beach games for us to battle it out to win £100 in Orange Rooms Bar Vouchers and more! Better still, It’ll be free to play and they’ll be serving some delicious exclusive cocktails and slushies – be careful of brain freezes though!

To make it interesting, each month we’ll ask the attending quizzers to vote for the most valuable player (MVP) on the night. With a prize being awarded at the end of the year (so there really is all to play for).

If we’re lucky encourage to win a quiz or two, the idea is that all prizes won by the JCI team will either go towards prizes for a special JCI hosted quiz at the end of the year, or if it’s a cash prize, be donated to our charity of the year Southampton City Mission.

JCI members will have first refusal, but members are welcome to invite guests if we need the numbers (and the guests agree to the altruistic nature of the quiz!)
