It’s BLING all the way for the 48th JCI Southampton Annual Gala Dinner!!

The event this year is hosted by Southampton Football Club at the flybe.com St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton. This year’s theme: Footballers Wives!*

Members, Senators, Patrons, sponsors, supporters, friends, colleagues and relatives are all invited once again to join JCI Southampton celebrating a year of achievement. The evening will include dinner, dancing, prize draw, charity fund-raising, 2007 Most Outstanding Patron award announcement and official handing over of the chain of office (JCI’s very own Bling!) to the newly elected JCI Southampton 2008 President.

Money raised through fund raising events during the evening will be donated to the Wessex Cancer Trust.

Directions to the venue
Car:
From the north (M3):
Drive to the end of the M3 and get onto the M27 eastbound. Get off at the first junction you come to (junction 4) and follow the signs for the A33 into Southampton. Continue along this road (for approximately 3 miles) and continue to the end of this road (“The Avenue”). It will merge into Dorset Street – continue along until you get to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd junction (Six Dials) and on the dual carriageway stay in the left hand lane. Go straight over at the traffic lights to the left and continue over the railway bridge. At the next set of traffic lights turn right into Britannia Road. The stadium is at the end of Britannia Road.

From the east (M27):
Leave the M27 at junction 5. Take 4th junction off roundabout heading into Southampton along the A335 (Thomas Lewis Way). Head straight along this road for roughly 3 miles until the road merges into Bevois Valley Road. Continue along this road until you pass the Royal South Hants Hospital on your left and the British Gas offices on your right. Take the first turning on the right and then at the roundabout take the first left into Six Dials. Stay on the left hand lane of the dual carriageway and continue along through the traffic lights. Go over the railway bridge and at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Britannia Road. The stadium is at the end of Britannia Road.

Bus:
Line 3/3A, 5/5A, 8A (all operated by First Southampton) or line 18/19 (operated by Solent Blue Line).

Train:
Southampton Central Station is app. 20 minutes walk from the stadium.
