Learn to lead effective meetings and boost the productivity of your business

Date: Wednesday 10th March, 2010
Venue: Jury's Inn, Charlotte Place, Southampton SO14 0TB

  • Have you ever sat through a meeting and felt it was a waste of time?
  • Have you been frustrated when actions are not clearly agreed?
  • Have you seen decisions put off because the right people weren’t present?

If so, this session is for you!

Running effective meetings can be a dry subject, but Vanessa Wilkinson, a Business Consultant experienced in ‘meeting facilitation’, will make it interesting whilst arming you with useful tips for planning and running your own meetings.

When you run an effective meeting you make things happen for your business and you gain the respect of your colleagues for making good use of their time. It is a valuable professional skill which is often neglected at significant cost to our businesses. It is, of course, equally useful outside our business life where we may take responsible roles in society in a voluntary capacity, in politics or elsewhere. In these situations it can be even more important to get things right – after all, our colleagues often don’t have any choice but to attend our meetings – volunteers can vote with their feet!

Come along and find out the top tips for running an effective meeting.
