Preparations for the JCI European Conference from 9-12 June 2009 in Aarhus (Denmark) are well under way with a lot of people already registered.

1. Registration

To register for the EC2010 please go to http://ec2010.dk/en/registration. The early bird rate of EUR 350 (conference fee) plus transaction fee is available until 1 February 2010. The price will go up to EUR 399 plus transaction fee after 1 February 2010 until 7 April 2010 and after 7 April 2010 it goes up to EUR 449 plus transaction fee. BOOK YOU PLACE EARLY!!!.

Once you have registered – Log in to your personal account http://ec2010.dk/en/user. User name is your e-mail address and access code is your chosen password at registration. When logged into your personal account, click the button – “Pay the conference fee”.

2. Accommodation

The Conference Headquarter (HQ) Hotel is the Radisson BLU Scandinavia Hotel.

According to the Radisson website a twin room non-smoking for 3 nights (9 June – 12 June) is available for approx. £520. This means £260 per person for three nights.

3. Travel

The conference organisers have managed to secure a 20% discount for everyone who uses an airline which is part of Star Alliance. Simply call the reservation office of any participating Star Alliance member airline and quote the event code SK15S10. Registered participants plus one accompanying person travelling to the event are automatically granted a discount of up to 20%, depending on the class of travel.

Discounts are offered on published business and economy class fares, excluding website/internet fares, senior and youth fares, group fares and Round the World fares.

3.1 Travel from the UK

The only direct flight from the UK to Aarhus which the JCI UK National Board has found goes from London Stansted to Arhus with Ryanair.
