JCI Leadership Summit at the United Nations - Geneva, Switzerland
Date: Friday 24th July, 2009
Venue: United Nations - Geneva, Switzerland
At present Climate Change is one of the most relevant issues under discussion. In fact, Poland hosted the UN Conference on Climate Change in December 2008 which laid out a vision of the agreement the United Nations expect to conclude in Copenhagen (Denmark) in 2009.
Based on its mission “…to create positive change” as well as its 2009 Presidential Theme “Global Impact through Local Action”, JCI wants to contribute – in collaboration with the UN Global Compact and the International Chamber of Commerce – to the efforts of the United Nations.
Hence, this July 26th-29th, at the 2009 JCI Leadership Summit, delegates from 114 countries will go behind the security gates at the UN Office in Geneva, Switzerland to explore, propose and take actions on Climate Change.
