JCI UK Local Presidents, Deputy Presidents & National Council

Come to London to meet your peers and join in with the 2008 JCI European Capitals Meeting www.ecm2008.org.uk

After an informal welcome for those arriving on Friday evening, National Council will take place on Saturday morning before lunch and an afternoon of activities focused on building the effectiveness of the 2008/9 National and Local leadership teams of JCI UK. Presidents’ day will be rounded off with the opportunity to attend the JCI London annual dinner. JCI London dinner must be booked separately: visit www.jcilondon.org.uk

Driving: From the M40, take Hanger Lane (A406) and bear right onto Western Avenue (A40 – Central London)
Continue forward Entering Shepherds Bush (A40), Entering Paddington (A40)
Continue forward onto Harrow Road Flyover (A501)
Continue forward Entering Marylebone (A501, at Baker Street Junction continue forward (A501 – Ring Road, The City)
Continue forward passing Madame Tussauds, Regents Park and St Pancras Church
At Kings Cross continue onto Pentonville Road (approx 500 m)

From The North
Driving: From the M1, leave the M1 at Junction 2, merge onto Great North Way (A1 – North Circular East, Central London, The City)
Continue forward on the A1 then Bear left (A1 – Central London, Holloway)
At Highbury Corner Roundabout take 3rd Exit (A1 – Central London, Islington)
At The Angel turn right onto Pentonville Road (A501 – Ring Road West, West End, Westminster)
Hotel is on the Right

From the Southeast
Driving: Take the M20 to the M25 and following signs to the M1. At Junction 25, Follow A10 towards City Centre. Turn right onto A104 towards Islington, Passing Angel Tube on the left. Take next right onto Pentonville Road and the Inn is on the right, 200 yards down.

From The West
Driving: Take the M32 to Junction 19. Take the M4 to Junction 1. Follow the A402 signs for the M41 and Paddington. Join the M41, A40 into Marylebone Road. Jurys Inn is about 1000 yards on the left.

Gatwick Airport 25 miles
Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria, which takes 25 minutes. Then take a taxi to the hotel.

Heathrow Airport 16 miles
Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, which runs every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes. Then take a taxi to the hotel.

Kings Cross Station 1 mile
Trains from north-east Britain stop at Kings Cross. Take a taxi or a Tube on the Northern line.

London City Airport 6 miles
Take a taxi to the hotel or get on a Tube on the Northern line as far as Liverpool Street Station and change.

London Underground 1-minute walk
The nearest Underground station is Angel. As you come out of the Underground station, turn left. At the crossroads, turn right onto Pentonville Road. The hotel is on your right hand side.

Paddington Station 3 miles
Trains from western Britain stop at Paddington. Take a taxi or a Tube on the Circle line to Kings Cross. Then either walk up Pentoville Road, or change to the Northern Line and get off at Angel.

Stansted Airport 40 miles
Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station and then take a taxi to the hotel.

Victoria Station 2 miles
Trains from southern Britain stop at Victoria. Take a taxi or a Tube on the Victoria line to Kings Cross and change.

Waterloo Station 2 miles
The Eurostar train from mainland Europe stops at Waterloo. Take a taxi or a Tube on the Northern line.
